However, it is very difficult to manage through life’s stressors all alone. Therefore, finding the right therapist that you are comfortable with and building a therapeutic alliance with them is crucial to your growth, whenever you are considering therapy.

  • Yes, I know its nerve-racking! Who will this person be and how will I possibly open up my entire life to them? I will say that it is quite normal to feel this way. I remember the first time going to therapy myself and how anxiety-provoking it was for me. You should expect to feel uncomfortable as therapy dives deep into your life and you will discover so much about yourself, your family, your relationships and your coping patterns. Initially, it may be shocking, however, in the process of therapy, you will learn how to accept and cope with these things.

  • Yes, I take Optum insurance and can provide you with superbills for out of network coverage. My rates are $175-$250 per session. I do offer sliding scale as well. Please contact me and we can further discuss this.
